2 ingredients are all you need for this very simple “ice cream” ! I’ve heard so many names for it.. nana ice cream, nice cream, banana ice cream. And if you haven’t guessed already, the base of this ice cream is banana! Who would of thought just blending up these fruits has the same consistency as ice cream?! But what a great alternative to indulge in a sweet treat and not feel guilty about it.
Mango and Banana “ice cream”
1 whole frozen banana (cut up in chunks)
1 whole frozen mango (cut up in chunks)
milk or water (optional)
Makes 2 servings
Put your frozen fruits in a magic bullet (you can also use a food processor or blender) If you find that it’s hard to blend, you can add a splash of milk or water to keep the bullet running.
I served it right away, so it was a soft serve consistency. If you want more of a solid texture, put the blended fruit in a freezer-safe container and put it in a freezer until it gets solid.
