1. Love yourself
Accept the beauty that is expressed within yourself. Love your intelligence, your talents, your appearance and what you are capable of. This can affect the relationship you have with people and most importantly yourself.

2. Surround yourself with like-minded people
Avoid being around with negative people. They might bring you down. Surround yourself with people who empowers you to stay motivated and are like-minded with similar interests and opinions.

3. “Don’t sweat the small stuff”
As what Richard Carlson asked “Ask yourself this question: ‘Will this matter a year from now?'”

4. Be thankful for what you have
Be thankful for living under a roof, the food that you eat, the people that you see, etc. things that are sometimes taking granted for.

5. Take a step at a time to let go of things
Don’t rush into things because there may be a chance that you weren’t ready to let go. It’s okay to take your time.

6. Practice mindfulness
You can do this right when you wake up and/or right before you sleep. During this time, you are meditating and focusing on the steadiness of your breath. This will allow you to have a clear mind and not focus about anything else. (Here is a YouTube video to help you on this mindfulness activity.)

    1. Thanks! Yeah, unfortunately (in my opinion) sometimes we forget and it would be nice to reflect on the basic everyday needs that we are privileged to have and be thankful for it :)

      1. :) By the way I liked your “Ice Cream” recipe seems delicious but also simple and heathy. I never have tried a mango flavour of banana but definitely will!
