I can’t believe this is the second time I’m having banana nice cream! It’s probably because I always forget to freeze the bananas… oops haha. This time I was craving something chocolate-y and I’m glad I had just enough cocoa powder for this recipe. You can’t see it in the picture above but I also added a drizzle of the vegan caramel sauce I made last week and pistachio’s for some crunch!
Chocolate and Banana Nice Cream
2 medium frozen bananas (cut up in chunks)
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
Splash of unsweetened almond milk or any milk that you have (optional)
Vegan caramel sauce, pistachios for toppings (optional)
Makes 2 servings
Put your frozen fruits in a magic bullet (you can also use a food processor or blender) If you find that it’s hard to blend, you can add a splash of milk or water to keep the bullet running.
I served it right away, so it was a soft serve consistency. If you want more of a solid texture, put the blended fruit in a freezer-safe container and put it in a freezer until it gets solid.
