Can you believe that the holidays are back for another year? 2017 flew by so fast but it definitely has been a good one. I’ve started a new job that I’m enjoying so much. I’ve payed attention to my well-being a lot this year. I learned to let go of the BS and move on to what is important in my life (I will probably make a “2017 Reflection post” so keep an eye out of for that!).
To start off the holiday season I’ve decided to bake a little something and share with you all. I actually got this recipe from Simple Hacks Living but I’ve adapted it with ingredients I had. For those that are vegan or want to try a vegan option, be sure to try their recipe out! It’s another great alternative.
Normally, to start of the season I would bake Christmas cookies. You know the drill – sugar cookies in the shapes of Christmas trees, candy canes, stars. But I wanted to change it up this year. And I’m so glad I did because these are so so so good! They’re chewy, fudgy and they also don’t over power on the ginger. Which is great for those who is not much of a fan of that gingery taste. Hope you all enjoy!
